John Kenena Kasaona
John holds an MSc in Integrated Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, along with a Diploma in Natural Resource Management from the Polytechnic of Namibia, where he was recognized as the Best Student each year since 1997. As a Namibian conservation leader with 33 years of experience, John is a passionate advocate for community-led conservation. Through his role as Manager of IRDNC, he negotiates community-investor agreements, conducts environmental impact assessments, ensures that rural communities benefit from tourism and development, and monitors management plans.
