Dave Bennett

Dave Bennett is a Zimbabwean conservationist and tourism professional with over 35 years’ experience across Africa’s leading wilderness destinations. Originally trained in Civil Engineering, Dave redirected his career to wildlife, completing a Professional Guides Apprenticeship in the Zambezi Valley. Together with his wife, Linda, he built a pioneering mobile safari operation that later expanded into lodges, aviation, wildlife capture and relocation, and conservation-linked enterprises across Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia. Through Kakori Conservation, he works with communities, government, and private stakeholders on biodiversity protection, wildlife corridors, research, education, and sustainable livelihoods—seeking practical solutions for conservation in a changing world.
