Douglas Braum
Doug Braum is the COO at The Pangolin Project, Kenya, specialising in protected area management for the past 20 years in both Tanzania and Kenya. Doug is originally from South Africa and studied IT and computer programming and holds a commercial pilots’ license, having spent years flying anti-poaching patrols in some of the remote Game Reserves in Tanzania. For the past 8 years, his focus has been on managing and developing community owned conservancies bordering the Maasai Mara Reserve. In between managing protected areas, Doug spent a year in the DRC leading a scientific expedition into Maiko National Park.
