Emmanuel Gerlin
Passionate about social and environmental development from an early age, Emmanuel became actively involved in local community organizations as a teenager, later earning a degree in Economic Development and International Cooperation in Toulouse, France. Emmanuel has held leadership roles in NGOs across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, working in diverse fields — from emergency aid in conflict zones to community development projects. Since 2025, Emmanuel has served as Coordinator of the Chimpanzee Conservation Center in Haut Niger National Park (Guinea). Founded in 1997, the center now cares for 65 chimpanzees rescued from poaching, operates a release site, and supports community and educational initiatives in neighbouring villages.
