Kerri Wolter
On a leap of faith, Kerri applied for a job managing a vulture conservation group. It was meant to be a stepping stone into conservation, with dreams of eventually working with more “glamorous” species. Meeting vultures up close captivated Kerri, especially their ancient beauty, their vulnerability, and the vital role they play in our ecosystems. What began as “just a job” quickly became a passion. Kerri is deeply committed not only to protecting vultures, but to helping people connect with them emotionally; nurturing love and empathy for species that are so often forgotten, misunderstood, and underappreciated.
