Lesley McNutt
Lesley McNutt began her career as an anthropologist and has since spent over 30 years working in African conservation, primarily on long-term field research and people-centred solutions. She is Co-Director of Wild Entrust Africa, an umbrella for 3 integrated programs that combine predator research, community coexistence and education. Lesley is the creator of Coaching Conservation, a play-based learning model that fosters empathy, critical thinking, and coexistence with wildlife, now scaling through national and regional partnerships. Her work focuses on translating conservation science into lasting social impact, strengthening local stewardship, and building durable conservation outcomes, most recently through collaborative efforts with Enduring Earth to develop a Project Finance for Permanence in Botswana.
