Mark Saunders
Mark Saunders was born in Triangle, Zimbabwe, where he spent the first 26 years of his life exploring the bush, particularly Gonarezhou National Park and Lone Star Ranch—that would later become The Malilangwe Trust. These formative years fostered a deep and enduring love for the wilderness. Mark attended Falcon College, where he served as Head Boy in 1987. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Science at Rhodes University in South Africa, followed by a diploma in tobacco culture from the Blackfordby Institute. He farmed tobacco for ten years before being appointed Executive Director of The Malilangwe Trust in 2010, where he continues to work and live with his family.
