Dr. Monicah Mbiba
Dr Monicah Mbiba is a strategist, facilitator, and systems leader with over 15 years of experience working across Africa in conservation, development, academia and social innovation. Currently she is Senior Portfolio Manager for Southern Africa at Maliasili, leading regional strategy and supporting partners in strengthening their leadership and infrastructure to accelerate conservation impact, promote sustainable livelihoods and transformative shifts in power to local organizations and the communities they work with. Previously, Monicah was the Senior Program Manager for Kenya at Legado, where she worked with Samburu communities to advance the thriving futures program for resilience. Monicah serves on the boards of the Reos Institute in Geneva and the Matabeleland Youth Conservation Society in Zimbabwe.
