Nick Bubb
Nick was appointed Chief Executive of Tusk in January 2024. Prior to this, he spent a decade at Fauna & Flora International (FFI) as their Business Development Director. Mainly based in the UK, he also helped to run their regional offices in Singapore and Australia. Nick spent ten years as a professional offshore sailor before moving into finance as an investment manager. Alongside his professional career, he was active in local politics and stood as a candidate in the 2019 UK general election. Nick has sailed around the world multiple times and undertaken purpose-led expeditions across Africa, Europe, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Oceania, Antarctica and the Pacific. These experiences have given him broad exposure to locally led conservation efforts globally and continue to inform his approach to leadership and risk. A life-long passion for marine conservation, reinforced by an expedition to Antarctica in 2012, led him to pursue a long-term career in wildlife conservation.
