Yamina Karitanyi

Yamina Karitanyi is a distinguished diplomat who served as the Rwandan High Commissioner to the UK from 2016-2021, where she effectively promoted and strengthened bilateral and multilateral relations. As well as also having served as Rwandan High Commissioner to Kenya, she has played a significant role within the Rwanda Development Board, heading the Tourism and Conservation docket where her efforts were instrumental in positioning Rwanda as a competitive and attractive tourism and investment destination on the global stage. As CEO of the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum & Gas Board, Yamina drove growth with the highest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards. She joined the Board in 2024.
