Tusk Conservation Symposium 2024
Evolution in African Conservation

March 4th – 8th

Venue: Rwanda

The Tusk Conservation Symposium is a biennial gathering of Tusk’s project portfolio. The 2024 symposium titled ‘Evolution in African Conservation’ will be held in Rwanda. 75 delegates from across Africa and further afield will spend time in Kigali before venturing east to Akagera via the Rugezi Marsh for a few field days.  As always, the focus will be collaboration, finding areas of synergy, and harnessing the collective expertise of the Tusk portfolio to catalyse growth and evolution.

It is generously sponsored by the Nick Maughan Foundation as well as JRS Biodiversity Foundation, The Mantis Collection, and Accor Group.

Special thanks to our host and Tusk project partner: Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association, our facilitators Maliasili, and contributors: Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN) and African Leadership University (ALU).
