Symposium Venue

The 2019 Tusk Conservation Symposium will be held at the Mount Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki with a field day at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on the 9thof October. For the night of 6th October, delegates who have opted in prior, will be accommodated at the Norfolk Hotel. Between the 7th and 11th of October, delegates will be accommodated at the Mount Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki. Please see further details below.

Norfolk Hotel

The Norfolk Hotel, 6th October

Delegates arriving on the 6th of October will have the option of staying at Fairmont the Norfolk before transfer to the Mount Kenya Safari Club, Nanyuki on the morning of the 7th October at 7.00 am.

Transfers to the Norfolk will be organised for delegates arriving through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and who have opted in for accommodation at the Norfolk. These transfers will be handled by Sandrage Safaris based on arrival times. Upon arrival, please look out for a placard bearing the Tusk Logo. JKIA is located 20 km away from Fairmont, the Norfolk.

Mount Kenya Safari Club, 7th-11th October

Between the 7th and 11th of October, delegates will be accommodated at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club (MKSC) in Nanyuki. With magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya, MKSC is set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Kenya, and strategically located on the Equator within the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy.

The transfer to MKSC will depart the Norfolk at 7.00 am on Monday, 7th October. Please note it is a 4 hour drive so punctuality is advised for delegates joining the transfer from other locations.
